KPMG office in Sarajevo, affiliated with the Croatian member firm, was established in 2000 and now employs some 20 people. KPMG in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a member of KPMG in Central and East European (CEE) practice which has emerged as one of the KPMG network's fastest growing practice, with 2,600 staff working in 16 countries.
KPMG in Bosnia and Herzegovina follows a graduate recruitment policy in Sarajevo, under which training as auditors, tax practitioners and advisers is provided in accordance with the global standards of the KPMG network. Such training also involves enrolment with an international programme, which in the CEE region is provided by the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (“ACCA”) from London, UK. The first generation of trainees of our Sarajevo office to participate in this program has already successfully completed the foundation stage that will eventually lead to an internationally recognised qualification.
KPMG clients in Bosnia and Herzegovina include local and foreign-owned companies and non-profit organisations. We have carried out audits, due diligence, tax or other advisory work for numerous clients.
